La Joya Lodge

La Joya Lodge (formerly Amanzingwe Lodge) is a conference lodge and spa on Pelindaba Road in Broederstroom, in the foothills of the Magaliesberg near Hartbeespoort Dam — an easy drive from Johannesburg, Pretoria and Lanseria. The lodge has been modernised under its new name, with a thatched main building, a large pool terrace with an infinity pool looking out over the bushveld, and a restaurant with folding glass doors that open onto the view.

For corporate groups it covers the full day: four conference rooms for up to about 150 delegates, 48 rooms and chalets for overnight stays, and a restaurant serving everything from sushi and Mexican to Italian and traditional South African dishes. The open lawns and bushveld around the lodge give Beach & Bush plenty of room for outdoor team building, while the terrace and restaurant work well for a sundowner, prize-giving or year-end dinner afterwards.
