Business Tourism

South Africa offers a huge variety of possibilities for team building activities. For the overseas visitors the most exciting would be a trip to one of the many varied game parks which abound in all provinces of South Africa. Spend a few nights in a Big 5 game park. Many Game Lodges have conference facilities and are geared for team building. A bush breakaway is a perfect incentive combining big game viewing with the bush experience.

Several games lodges offer team building activities which include the tracking of wild animals, bush navigation, releasing animals into the wild and helping vets with darting programmes.

The Cape Winelands and Garden Route have many wine estates and golfing facilities. Combine a golf day with a wine tasting and dinner at one of the wonderful venues on offer. For the adrenaline junkies there are also many places to indulge in quad biking, abseiling and river rafting. Hiking and mountain biking is also a popular event.

One of the wonderful advantages of a trip to South Africa is the weather. The majority of the year is full of sunshine and the winters are pleasant. Get advice from your Team Building Co-ordinators as to which month would be preferable for your particular requested activity. Winter in the Cape tends to get a bit chilly whereas the Kwa-Zulu Natal province is tropical in the summer with balmy winters.

Team Building gives companies the opportunity to gain worth from incentives, eventually improving their bottom line, rather than just giving employees a bonus for meeting sales targets or for good performances.
