The CSI challenge is divided into sections, and the teams must move through each stage of the overall investigation, completing relevant tasks, sticking to the prescribed time limits and systematically putting their case together:
- Crime scene investigation
- Interrogation room
- Ballistics range
- Evidence processing
- Identikit.
Although this team build is not structured as a race, time allocations are given for each section to encourage quick thinking and successful planning in approaching each task.
A Beach & Bush facilitator mans each stage group dynamics are analyzed as each group progresses. Teams piece together the evidence to build a case and justify an arrest warrant proving means, motive and opportunity. Remember, people lie, the evidence doesn’t.
Groups are judged according to their skill in successfully completing each of the tasks allocated.
